247connect August newsletter

August has been a busy month at 247connect. From a new Salesforce integration and putting our connection speeds to the test, to sharing practical IT advice and joining the ITPro Podcast, there’s plenty to catch up on.

Here’s what’s been happening.

What’s the key to a successful IT strategy?

It’s not simply about adopting the latest technology. It’s about understanding the problem you’re trying to solve, asking the right questions and bringing people with you through change.

This month, our CEO Al Kingsley MBE joined Jane McCallion and Ross Kelly on the ITPro Podcast to discuss how IT leaders can make better-informed decisions, manage change successfully and balance rapid AI adoption with the increasingly valuable human side of business. Connecting 247connect with Salesforce

Another big development this August was the arrival of our Salesforce integration. Support teams can now launch a 247connect on-demand remote support session directly from a Salesforce Case, cutting out unnecessary steps when a user needs help. Once the user runs the temporary On-Demand Agent and enters their session code, the technician can securely connect and start troubleshooting. Session activity can also be added to the Salesforce Case Feed, helping support teams keep a useful record alongside the original case. Spot IT issues before they disrupt your business

The best IT problem is often the one you can deal with before users even notice it.

In our latest article, we look at the best ways to spot IT issues before they disrupt your business, including why having greater visibility across your IT environment can make such a difference. Catching warning signs early can mean less downtime, fewer frustrated users and more time for IT teams to focus on the work that matters. Ready, set, connect!

How quickly can you start a remote support session?

We’ve been putting 247connect to the test throughout August with a series of speed challenges. First, David and Karl went head-to-head to see who could establish a connection fastest. Then we increased the distance considerably, testing a remote connection across thousands of miles between Germany and Orlando, Florida. And most recently, Andy and Joe took on another 247connect speed challenge. The aim was simple: show just how little time it can take to get from ‘I need help’ to actually working on the user's device. With 247connect, you can be connected and ready to provide support in around 8 seconds. Watch the speed challenges here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc0CmCdwVp8&list=PLKWzpKURVzr4
