Remote Access Software Case Study: RACZ Group
Chris Sedgwick - Head of IT

Can you tell us a little bit about your company?
We are a multi-franchisee operating in the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry.
How many devices and what platforms do you have 247connect installed on?
We have 100 devices, and they are mostly Windows devices with a few macs thrown in. These are in use between our tills, our store laptops and user laptops.
Can you tell us why you chose 247connect?
Firstly, we were a customer of NetSupport Manager and NetSupport DNA. Next, we moved onto classroom.cloud as we wanted to get away from self-hosting. Finally, we landed on 247connect, which is geared towards business use and is much more relevant for us.
Can you tell us how the software is currently being used?
We use the software to remote in to managed devices to give support.
What are your favourite/most used features in 247connect?
My most-used feature is the remote viewing. There’s no guessing – you can see exactly what is going on.
How does it compare to other solutions you have used?
Compared to another solution we used, the price of 247connect is fantastic for what you get. It’s great value for money.
How would sum up the software in one sentence?
247connect does what it says on the tin. You can connect to managed devices 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and either remote in or use the remote Powershell to get the task done.

Would you recommend 247connect to others?
I would very much recommend 247connect to other IT teams. It’s efficient, easy to use and helps you keep your devices in order.
How have you found working with the 247connect team?
The support team have been great to work with. There haven’t been any problems – we have just made more feature requests!
What would you say to someone considering our solution?
I’d recommend that you sign up for a trial and test it for yourself in your own environment. It’s really easy to deploy out and, once the devices call home, you can assign them to groups and start managing them from there.
